Prologue

in sight, one girl takes matters into her own hands.

A girl with no recollection of her past opens her eyes. Before her is a gunmetal-gray sky. The stench of rust lingers in the air and inorganic shapes litter the landscape. Questions flit through her mind: What is this place? Who is she? The girl's story—Dreizehn's story—begins with a stream of tears.
